Head of ZF PS and Launch Management (m/f/d)
We are seeking a qualified and motivated professional to lead Lean deployment and plant launch activities. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in operational excellence, project management, and problem-solving. This role drives continuous improvement, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures plant readiness aligned with strategic goals.
What you can look Forward to as Head of ZF PS & Launch Management (m/f/d):
* Promote and implement Lean activities across the plant, including audits, workshops, and roadmap tracking
* Lead cross-functional teams for effective Lean deployment and successful plant launches
* Manage late-stage launch processes: Core team setup, resource planning, and transition to series production
* Conduct Gemba Walks and observations to identify waste and improvement opportunities
* Monitor KPIs, ZF Production System roadmap, and CIS results; plan actions to close gaps
* Ensure project governance via Operational Launch Management, managing risks and aligning with divisional stakeholders
* Facilitate knowledge transfer, organize workshops, and promote best practice sharing
Your profile as Head of ZF PS & Launch Management (m/f/d):
* Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
* Several years of professional experience in manufacturing, with strong Lean and Launch experience
* Proven leadership in matrix organizations and cross-functional team management
* Advanced problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills
* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and project management tools
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Coaching ability to support team development and knowledge Transfer
