You will provide clinical and operational oversight, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and service delivery across the hospital.This is a hands‐on role, with the opportunity to support a clinical workload depending on shift requirements. You will work collaboratively with shift leaders and clinical teams, acting as a key point of contact in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager and other senior clinical managers.Key Responsibilities
Providing after‐hours clinical and operational leadershipSupporting and guiding nursing and multidisciplinary teamsEnsuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirementsEscalating and managing clinical or operational issues as they ariseSupporting safe staffing, patient flow, and quality care deliveryActing as a role model in clinical practice and professional conduct

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 5 years post‐graduate acute care experienceALS certification (or working towards)Strong clinical decision‐making and problem‐solving skillsDemonstrated ability to lead, support and motivate othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSound computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)

CCU/HDU/ICU or ED experiencePostgraduate qualifications in a clinical specialty or management
