In the scope of Metro Projects in Milano and Torino, we are looking for an Urban ATC System Designer whose main responsabilities are:
1. Collect and drive Customer's requests
2. Design ATC system, both trackside and onboard, and provide related documents (specification, architecture, interface, etc.)
3. Lead ATC Design Reviews
4. Ensure the ATC configuration by application data or coding is performed regarding the process and ready for testing
5. Investigate the Verification and Validation (V&V) test failures for corrective actions
6. Investigate events and faults occuring during commercial service in order to identify the root cause
7. Define the most suitable T&C strategy and follow Baseline deployment on field
The following skills are associated to the profile:
8. Good level of English and technical background
9. Basic knowledge about ATC equipment and functionalities
10. Basic knowledge of traffic management principles
11. Good knowledge of DFQ cycle
12. Global system view preferably in metro context
13. Ability to work in team
14. Flexibility and availability to travel mainly in Italy
15. Good communications skill and capability to interface the customer
The position could be based in the site of Bologna, Firenze or Roma.
