As a member of the supply chain team, work closely with Global Sourcing Specialist/Directors, engineers, production and product managers to develop and implement comprehensive global sourcing strategies that support the business plan. Find, evaluate and select suppliers; negotiate pricing and supplier agreements, responsible for supplier relationship, mitigating material and supplier risks, and driving supplier performance using KPI with defined measures. Build value-added relationships with all stakeholders including suppliers. The strategies should balance short-term and long-term objectives and business priorities to achieve performance goals relating to quality, total cost, and material or service availability. /liliSet annual commodity management goals with regular updates on progress. Effectively communicate global commodity market information to the organization. /liliUnderstand organization needs for alternate materials/suppliers. Investigate alternates and make recommendations consistent with corporate and divisional goals. /liliConduct research on market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, and historical spend to enhance negotiations for assigned categories and contracts. /liliEvaluate existing and new suppliers for applicable capabilities, quality systems, management and financial stability, cost competitiveness, responsiveness, collaboration, and innovation. Identify opportunities to access supplier technologies. /liliDemonstrate supplier proficiencies through core competency management. /liliMeasure and manage commodity and supplier performance using key measures and regularly communicate to key suppliers. /liliManage the entire lifecycle of sourcing procurement projects, working closely with suppliers and internal customers from planning bid preparation to budget/forecasting, general delivery specs, negotiation, contracting, invoicing, and reporting consistent with policies and objectives. /liliMust be able to understand demand and supply constraints of commodities, taking into account tier 2 impacts and set up successful global order plans for effective purchasing organization. /liliImplement and manage long term agreements which deliver best in class quality, delivery, and lowest total cost. /liliDevelops and implements supplier strategies building action plans to strategic partnerships and mitigating under performing suppliers. /liliRegularly evaluate suppliers/commodity and identify supplier’s progression to coming partners (1A suppliers) or initiate steps to remove non-performing suppliers. /liliLead business reviews with key suppliers. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbQualifications /b /ppbr/ppbr/ppProcurement- Sourcing experience with most of following commodity sets: /pullielectro-mechanical components, motors, air management, PCBA’s, and wire/cable assemblies /lilimetal fabrication, electro polishing, stamping, wire form /lilifasteners, injection mold plastics, hoses, extruded rubber, insulation, heat management /lilicleaning chemicals, blast chillers, oven accessories /li /ulpbr/pulliExperience developing and implementing global sourcing strategies. /liliDemonstrated record of identifying, initiating, and delivering year over year cost savings. /liliAbility to develop, interpret and make decisions from total cost of ownership models. /liliDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively; with strong networking, influencing, and organizational skills; and to drive effective project execution. /liliPractical knowledge of how supply chains work and ability to assess cost drivers of industrial processes. /liliTeam player who can successfully interact with internal and external organizations and effectively communicate verbally and in writing in a timely manner to ensure positive results. /liliRobust problem-solving techniques and ability to develop creative ideas and solutions. /liliStrong analytical skills. Ability to understand and communicate basic technical information both internally externally. /liliExample of participating in a negotiation of a complex long-term agreement(s) and increasing spend under management required. /liliDemonstrated proficiency in computer skills inclusive of all Microsoft Business Suite required (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Qlik experience a plus. /liliBachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management, or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience. /liliMinimum of five years’ experience in Supply Management, Materials Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or Engineering. /liliAbility to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%). /liliChange management experience gained in a lean manufacturing or six sigma environment is preferred. /liliPurchasing experience in a high-mix, lower-volume industry is beneficial. /liliFluent knowledge of English and a second language. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbPay range and compensation package /b /ppbr/ppbr/ppWork location: fully remote.
