The Finance & Accounting Team At Grafton, a global brand specializing in professional recruitment, on behalf of an important client that is a leading travel experience operation, is looking for a: FINANCE MANAGER The individual will be based in Rome with the local team, partnering closely with the entrepreneur and founder of the business, while reporting to the European Finance Controller (based in London) and liaising with stakeholders and partners internationally around the group. Reporting, Analysis and Control Ownership of monthly management accounts, including analysis against budget and prior years Ensure compliance with both Italian and IFRS accounting standards and Global company policies Working capital management: overseeing accounts payable and receivable and payroll functions Preparation of annual budget and monthly reforecasts for the company Preparation of ad hoc forecasts and analysis as required Audit and Financial Statements Ownership of annual audits for corporate entities, managing all audit requests and liaising day-to-day with the audit team (local and Group)Treasury And Tax Responsibilities Oversight of treasury function, managing day-to-day banking and cashflow management Ownership of TOMS VAT processes, ensuring accurate margin calculations, timely submissions, and regulatory compliance Working with Group Tax and local advisors to ensure local legislative, VAT and corporation tax compliance Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) including membership of the relevant accredited Professional body e.G.
