Ph3Job Description /h3pThe Equipment Inspectors are part of our Detailed Equipment Information (DEI) team. They are responsible to perform accurate and thorough visual inspections (eg. wear points, damage, hour meter readings, etc) and functional testing (eg. basic operations) on heavy equipment. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliResponsible to gather and verify equipment inventory information (eg. contract proofs, equipment additions, serial numbers, etc.) /liliCharged with Identifying and recording equipment components, accessories, and asset details /liliAccountable for verifying equipment descriptions, based on our Equipment Standards Manual /liliEnsure the quality of equipment data and other related information /liliResponsible for verifying requirements for warranty applicable items /liliLiable for composing and taking photos of the equipment /liliProvide assistance, as required, to the DEI Team /liliAssist the Sales team with appraisals and write-ups in the field between peak periods /liliPromote a culture where the health and safety of our employees and customers is top priority for all /liliActively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers, and customers /liliPerform other duties as assigned /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliFluency in Italian and/ or English /liliPrior experience in equipment management (inspections, inventory and appraisals) and/or inventory control management, preferably in the auction or heavy equipment business /liliKnowledge of industrial and/or agricultural equipment, trucks and trailers /liliProficiency using computers, MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel) and digital cameras /liliTop-notch written and verbal communication skills (you will be using a 2-way radio and a desk phone) /liliGood penmanship – we need to be able to read your writing and printing easily /liliExcellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy /liliExperience working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
