The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will assist in overseeing the housekeeping operations across all areas of the hotel. This role requires a strategic leader capable of ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal are consistently maintained. The ideal candidate will excel in managing teams, developing and implementing housekeeping protocols, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, this role involves coordinating the efforts of housekeeping staff to achieve optimal operational efficiency. /ppKey Responsibilities : /ppbHousekeeping Operations Supervision : /b /pulliAssist in supervising housekeeping operations in all areas of Hotel Splendido. /liliEnsure the hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal. /li /ulpbPersonnel Management and Training : /b /pulliSupport the training and management of housekeeping staff to ensure they provide top-level services while adhering to company policies. /liliConduct regular performance evaluations of staff and provide constructive feedback to support their professional development. /liliDevelop and implement training programs for new hires as well as ongoing training for existing staff. /li /ulpbStandard Operating Procedures (SOP) : /b /pulliHelp establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure consistency across all areas of the hotel. /liliMonitor daily operations to ensure all housekeeping activities are carried out efficiently and promptly. /li /ulpbMaintenance of Hotel Areas : /b /pulliEnsure guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and grounds are maintained according to established cleanliness and quality standards. /liliCoordinate with other departments such as maintenance, front office, and laundry services to ensure seamless operation. /li /ulpbBudget and Inventory Management : /b /pulliAssist in preparing annual budgets for the housekeeping department in collaboration with financial managers. /liliManage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, uniforms, equipment, etc., ensuring adequate stock while controlling costs. /liliNegotiate contracts with vendors to secure quality products at favorable pricing. /li /ulpbQuality Assurance and Complaint Resolution : /b /pulliImplement quality assurance measures to regularly inspect facilities for cleanliness and maintenance issues. /liliAddress any guest complaints regarding housekeeping service promptly and efficiently. /li /ulpbUpdates and Innovation : /b /pulliStay updated on the latest trends in cleaning technology and sustainability practices to continually improve service delivery. /liliPromote environmentally friendly cleaning practices throughout all operations under supervision. /li /ulpbCompliance and Safety : /b /pulliEnsure compliance with all local laws regarding health and safety in hospitality settings. /liliDevelop risk assessment strategies for housekeeping tasks to minimize accidents or injuries among staff members. /li /ulpbCommunication and Reporting : /b /pulliMaintain clear communication channels between the housekeeping department and upper management. /liliProvide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), challenges faced, solutions implemented, and suggestions for operational improvements /li /ulpRequirements /ppbWho You Are : /b /pulliExtensive experience in luxury hotel housekeeping management. /liliBachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a relevant field preferred. /liliDemonstrated leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams. /liliStrong organizational skills with an ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. /liliExcellent communication skills both verbal and written. /liliProficient in English and Italian. /liliSolid experience and knowledge of Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards. /li /ulpbWhat You’ll Gain : /b /pulliCompetitive compensation with a seasonal contract from April to November 2025, according to C.C.N.L.
