Our customers include national and international companies in the chemical, mining, and metallurgy sectors, as well as the pharmaceutical and food industries and the mechanical and plant engineering sectors.The number one in filter and hose line technologyAs a Junior Area Sales Manager you will support direct sales efforts for the products for the Markert Group.You will train directly with a senior salesman out of our facility in San Vittore Olona (MI). He will have immediate direct responsibility over the water treatment, aggregates and industrial wastewater sectors in Italy. The plan for this role is to grow into full territorial responsibility after the training. You will work from our Milan based manufacturing plant and travel to customers as needed. Ultimately, responsible for driving B2B sales growth and for providing excellent after-sales service to our customers. The role will propagate the Markert brand, increase sales and profitability while designating and implementing the corporate sales strategy for the region. Your Job Drive direct B2B sales and develop new accounts, generate leadsMushroom existing accounts and provide excellent customer serviceConduct market research and surveys to study the customer base and competitor strategiesDevelop and implement sales strategies for the region along with the sales teamDevelop and maintain a strong customer database in the CRM
Bachelor of Science or Arts (BS/BA) with a major in Marketing, Business or Engineering (preferred) fieldsExcellent sales skillsStrong technical understanding and the ability to build on those conceptsAbility to present and sell to engineering, operations, and senior leadership teamsA passion for people with the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service-oriented work philosophyAbility to read and understand technical drawings and convey all technical aspects of our product linesExcellent knowledge in M 365 (MS Office). Willingness to learn and work with ERP, CRMAfter training period of 6 months, minimum 50% travel is expected
