The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for the correct execution of the erection of Mechanical Parts and Equipment, in accordance with the Contractual Time Schedule, Design, and Technical Requirements. The role involves achieving contractual milestones related to the erection phase and coordinating Sub-Contractors.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Supervise the installation of Mechanical parts and equipment.
* Check the correct alignment and movements of the equipment.
* Verify that Erection Company carries out the job according to the Time Schedule, Design, and Technical Requirements.
* Check the planning of resources of the Erection Company.
* Interface with engineering departments to resolve any issues during the execution of works.
* Check and sign off on Erection Completion documents.
* Manage Vendors and Contractors.
* Attend meetings with the Customer on the progress of the works.
* Manage relationships with the Client and, if required, with local authorities.
* Coordinate with Head Office and Sub-Contractors.
* Prepare daily reports on the status of activities related to supervision.
* Provide technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases.
Job Requirements:
* Leadership skills to coordinate, manage, and control Mechanical/Piping Erection Activities in Industrial Plants.
* At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in constructing steel processing plants.
Knowledge in site erection and commissioning activities management for steel plants is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Ability to work in a team and demonstrate flexibility.
Willingness to travel worldwide.
Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations.
