Project 1: Event-based operator
Goal
Develop event-based operator able to adapt to basic variations in workplace layout, machine capability and transmission technologies.
Technologies & tools you will use
Dynamics system modelling & automatic controls;
MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace tools.
Expected outcomes
Simulation-based evaluation of efficiency, productivity, and operability.
Project 2: 2 Wheel Slip Detection in Wheel Loaders
Goal
Develop a system to detect wheel slip using vehicle dynamic data.
Technologies & tools you will use
Dynamics system modelling & automatic controls;
Transducers-actuators interfacing;
MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace tools.
Expected outcomes
Improve overall vehicle performance;
Reduce tire wear.
Project 3: Replace load PIN sensor using estimated load from engine data
Goal
Replace load PIN sensor using estimated load from engine data.
Technologies & tools you will use
Sensor fusion & automatic controls;
Transducers-actuators interfacing;
MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace tools.
Expected outcomes
Reduction of mechanical components;
Improve system reliability.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a student in Informatic/Electronic/Electric/Aerospace Engineering with passion and curiosity for the industrial sector, both on and off road.
We are looking for a dynamic and determined person, with good communication skills and problem solving oriented.
A good knowledge of the English language and familiarity with Office package and IT tools are required.
