This role combines product testing, technical analysis, and development support, with a strong focus on investigating system performance and contributing to product improvement. The successful candidate will work in our local testing facility and will be involved in testing Topcon's full range of Precision Agriculture solutions, including GNSS receivers, in-cab consoles/displays, and electronic control units (ECUs). In addition, the role includes analyzing software and system behavior, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing technical insights and recommendations to R&D and engineering teams.Key Responsibilities
Develop test plans aligned with new product delivery schedulesCreate and maintain test procedures for new features and regression testingExecute product validation and verification efficientlyAnalyze system and software behavior, identifying issues and proposing improvementsUnderstand customer requirements and ensure products meet expectationsTroubleshoot reported problems and support technical teams (sales, customer support)Contribute to continuous improvement of lab and field testing capabilitiesCollaborate with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Production, and Support teamsSupport development activities through technical feedback and system-level analysisPerform additional duties as required

Knowledge of precision agriculture practicesBasic programming skills (for test tools or data analysis)Experience in the agriculture industry (1–2 years)Understanding of GNSS receivers and basic control theory
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural EngineeringValid driver's license1–2 years of relevant experience or internships in Precision Agriculture or related fieldsTraining or facilitation skills are a plus
Additional Information
Most of the job will be performed in an outdoor environment in and around agricultural equipment. There will also be some testing completed in a lab environment and documentation completed on a PC in the office.Domestic and International travel likely to be requiredMeeting outside of normal business hours will likely be required
