You will be responsible for delivering features that reduce friction for new users and create sustainable value for our community. /p pHere’s what your day-to-day will look like: /p ul liOwn the story lifecycle: take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle—from technical design to production release—ensuring that product stories are robust, scalable, and meet all user requirements. /li liAccelerate activation trust: build and optimise the high-reliability systems behind onboarding, document verification, and security flows, ensuring users can start transacting safely within minutes. /li liDrive engagement discovery: enhance the app experience by developing core backend services for shop discovery, transaction management, and personalised consumer journeys through CRM integrations. /li liScale loyalty monetisation: contribute to our "Plus" subscription plans, referral programs, and loyalty mechanics (points and rewards), building the technical foundation for long-term user retention. /li liMaster a modern tech stack: take ownership of our AWS-based infrastructure (EC2/ECS, S3, Lambda, Kinesis) and participate in architectural improvements across our growth-focused microservices. /li liWork in an AI-powered environment: leverage AI tools daily to write and optimise code, speed up root cause analysis, and generate documentation, raising the bar for engineering efficiency. /li liEnsure quality and stability: conduct technical analysis, accurately estimate effort, and participate in incident resolution (including root cause analysis) to ensure technical transparency and system health. /li liCollaborate document: create comprehensive technical documentation for your features and collaborate cross‑functionally with Product and stakeholders to align your work with the roadmap. /li /ul h3Who We’re Looking For /h3 pWe are looking for a dynamic problem-solver who is excited about scaling a user base and building seamless digital experiences. Does it sound like you? /p ul liExperience: you have at least 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong track record of building and maintaining scalable microservices in fast‑paced environments. /li liTechnical foundations: solid expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud environments (AWS is a plus). /li liGrowth mindset: you care about performance and user experience.
