Indicative module content - Introduction to programming concepts: algorithms, data types, variables, control structures - Basic programming constructs: conditional statements, loops, functions - Introduction to Python: syntax, data types, operators, input and output statements - Basic Python constructs: conditional statements, loops, functions, arrays and lists - Advanced Python programming: file input/output, regular expressions, object-oriented programming Qualifications Requested - A relevant master’s degree or Phd qualification (eg: Computer Science or another related field from an accredited, state-approved programme). - Resident in Italy - Right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA). - Immaculate police check(s). - Fluent English: reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR level C1-C2). Contract Duration 1st term (September-January) 36h of teaching assessment and other academic related activities Experience - A minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a university environment. - Evaluate and provide regular feedback on students' exercises, projects and examinations. - Specialist skills & knowledge. - Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry-based lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs. - Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning. - Planning and organisational skills.
