Job Description We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with deep experience in React (TypeScript) to help drive the development of our complex, user-facing application. This is a high-impact role in a small, fast-moving team where you’ll take ownership of critical frontend features, contribute to architectural decisions, and help set standards for code quality and UI performance. We’re also looking for someone with the potential - and interest - to grow into a team lead role as the company scales. Key Responsibilities Lead the frontend development efforts, demonstrating expertise in React and TypeScript. Architect and develop reusable, efficient frontend components and libraries. Engage in performance profiling and optimisation for web applications. Work closely with the UX/UI team to translate design into functional web pages. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Actively participate in a Scrum-centric development environment. Lead and being responsible of successful development of complex features. Conduct thorough code reviews, aiming for high code quality and maintainability. Mentor junior developers, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and growth. Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering or related roles, focused on frontend development. Deep understanding of React architecture, component design, and state management. Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and associated pre-processors like SASS or LESS. Proficiency in frontend tooling, e.g. Vite, Bun, Webpack, Babel. Experience with frontend (from unit to e2e) testing libraries, e.g. Vitest, Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress. Experience with sync/async state management libraries, e.g. Tanstack Query, RTK Query, Redux, Zustand. Aptitude for inventive problem-solving and the ability to think outside the box. Resilient and proactive attitude, coupled with a readiness to excel in a dynamic environment. Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns. Effective communication skills, enabling constructive collaborations across teams. Nice to have Experience with libraries in the Tanstack ecosystem (e.g. React Router, Recharts, Tanstack Query). Familiarity with monorepo setups (e.g. Turborepo) and modular codebases. Experience building responsive and accessible UIs. Exposure to backend development (e.g. building or integrating APIs).
