For our client, we are looking for an IT Project Manager (WAN / Network) to support key network transformation initiatives within an international organisation. The position is based in Parma, Italy, operating under a hybrid model.
Eligibility to work in the European Union is mandatory.
The role requires the ability to travel frequently to Parma during the early months, with travel needs decreasing over time.
Context & Mission The consultant will take part in WAN project activities and contribute to network security improvements, focusing on OT/IT segregation and network segmentation. Close interaction with global network service providers is expected, along with adherence to relevant EU and Italian regulatory frameworks. The role fits candidates used to hybrid work settings and international coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support the delivery of WAN-related projects across the organisation.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving OT/IT separation and network segmentation.
Coordinate with global network service partners during project execution.
Provide assistance with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident-related processes when needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable data protection and regulatory requirements within Italy and the EU.
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in WAN project implementation or network-related project management.
Strong understanding of OT/IT segregation and network segmentation.
Previous collaboration with global network service providers is an advantage.
Exposure to network monitoring, troubleshooting, or incident response is a plus.
Knowledge of EU/Italian regulatory and data privacy standards is beneficial.
Hands-on configuration of routing, switching, or firewall equipment is
not
required.
