Junior Controller - Internship: We are seeking a Junior Controller for an internship in our Controlling Department, reporting to the Senior Controller. Major responsibilities: Collection, analysis and closing of reporting data (monthly) Updating of forecasts (monthly) Finalization of budget (annually) Preparation of specific reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Support in the implementation of Business Intelligence Tools and the IT development of accounting and controlling processes Protection of business operations, maintaining confidentiality of information and projects Support month-end closing activities Analysis of accounting records and financial statements to prepare monthly and year to date reports for the top management and the BoD Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures. Support with ideas and suggestions procedures review, recommending improvements Support the organization on the accounting practices and financial record keeping Required knowledge and skills: Bachelor’s degree in economics or Economics studies background or similar Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (and all the Microsoft Office tools) Problem-solving skills Good skills with IT tools Strong attention to detail and accuracy Fluency in English, written and spoken Additional Essential Job Skills: Good communication and time management skills as well as high level of organizational ability Attention to detail and precision Possess troubleshooting, problem solving, and creative/innovative thought Self-motivated and self-directed Ability to work independently and as part of a team Axxam is an equal opportunity employer Axxam S.p.A.
