About the job For our Finance Team based in Milan we are looking for a Planning & Reporting Controller WITH A TEMPORARY CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS You will be part of a dynamic team with a great visibility on all the company’s departments, and you will contribute to the achievements of your team and of the Company. About The Job You will be responsible for the management of the financial planning and the forecasting process, planning and delivering insight through management reporting and analysis with the objective of ensuring that the financial KPIs will evolve to meet the needs of the business. This position provides leverage and support to the Head of Finance to holistically monitor the P&L, implement initiatives and effectively meet business objectives in the key areas. The position works closely with the Controlling team and with the Accounting Manager to monitor the business performance and to early detect Risks or Opportunities. The Planning & Reporting controller works very closely with the Europe FP&A team and makes sure the reporting deadlines of Italy & Greece are met and the reporting is accurate. In this position you will manage an intern/junior profile. In details, you will: - Work closely with the Head of FP&A on scenario planning - Lead P&L landing of the month - Consolidate Forecast P&L collecting input from other Controllers - Provide profitability monthly variance analysis - Animate monthly reporting deadline across Italy & Greece Controlling Team - Provide timely and meaningful management reporting for the partner group and ensure that the reporting continually evolves to meet the needs of the business - Support in the preparation of Monthly Deck for Europe and for local Directors - Support the Head of FP&A with ad-hoc financial analysis Your main contacts are going to be: Finance Director, Europe FP&A team, Controlling team, Accounting team About you - You have 5 years experience in controlling / similar role with an Economic degree and you’re fluent in English. - You have strong analytical skills. You are structured and accurate and passionate about numerical analysis. - You have strong time management skills, needed to work towards specific deadlines and fluctuating priorities. - You have an independent work style, with strong organization capabilities. - You are able to see the big picture and provide support to the Finance Director, but also be hands on and willing to get involved in the detail where necessary. - You have excellent written and oral communication; must have the ability to partner and communicate well at all levels within the organization.
