Operations Intern OverviewAs an Operations Intern, you will support the coordination of international transport activities, working closely with the Operations team and external service providers, including agents, shipping and trucking carriers, and customs brokers. You will assist in keeping clients informed about their shipment progress, help monitor key milestones, support the team in resolving operational challenges, and contribute to identifying the best possible solutions when needed.This is a paid internship with a strong opportunity for a full‐time position upon successful completion of the program.Responsibilities
Global transport operations for large imports or exports (70%): support the team in managing a portfolio of customers, organize and coordinate air, sea, road, and rail transport, help monitor shipments, anticipate potential issues, and contribute to proactive problem‐solving.Customer success management (20%): support the main point of contact in communication with existing clients, help identify potential upsell opportunities, encourage and assist clients in increasing their use of the platform.Development and structuring (10%): support supplier relationship management (carriers & agents worldwide), contribute to research and knowledge sharing within the team (articles, market updates, best practices), assist in improving and refining operational processes.
Qualifications
Looking for a 6‐month internship, with the option to transition to a full‐time position afterward.Interested in the transport industry and a startup environment, curious by nature.Can handle challenging situations and take initiative.Excellent communication skills.Fluent in Italian and have a good English level.
