Job Summary:
The Project Manager monitors and controls project progress while keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring risk and QHSE concerns are mitigated. This person ensure efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
The position holder ensure that the project is planned and delivered according to schedule, scope, budget, quality expectations and meets all contractual requirements.
The position reports to the Project Management Manager and is based in Colico (LC), Italy.
Successful position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. They demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills to manage project.
Typical Responsibilities and Duties:
* Deliver projects that meet scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
* Act as the single point-of-contact for all stakeholders (internal and external).
* Engage with customers to understand high-level goals, business plans, and objectives.
* Manages and issues Change Order Requests (CORs) in response to customer-requests modification arising during project execution.
* Assesses the impact of customer‑requested changes introduced during project execution on delivery schedules.
* Monitors Witness Points and manages related notifications to customers.
* Tracks the project’s financial performance against the sales budget.
* Acts as the customer interface for all HSE-related aspects within assigned projects.
* Conducts risk analysis at project kickoff and leads the lessons-learned meeting at project closeout in collaboration with the Project Team.
* Identify risks, mitigation measures, and implement risk responses.
* Drive synergies and opportunities.
* Capture lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.
* Support business functions in all phases of the project.
Qualifications:
* Education: degree in management or Mechanical Engineering
* Technical Skills: familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (knowledge of MS Project is an advantage).
* Soft Skills: excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, time management and problem solving.
* Languages: English proficiency required (spoken and written).
* Knowledge of the product and manufacturing methods is considered a plus.
* Previous experience in PM roles is a plus.
