CONTEXT:The Finance & Controlling function within a business organization (Market / BU / Plant / Group HQ) supports management decision-making through accurate and reliable financial data.Within this context, the intern supports the deployment of Group guidelines related to:Cost control and efficiencyBudget and financial forecast processesFinancial reporting standardsSupport to projects and performance assessment
The intern works in close collaboration with the local Finance team and Shared Service Centers, under continuous supervision.
MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB:The Finance / Accounting Intern is part of the controlling team and contributes to daily financial activities within a defined scope, under the supervision of the Finance Manager.Main activities include:Support the accounting department during month-end / quarter-end closing activities, assisting in data collection and basic checksAssist in keeping financial systems updated timely and accurately, in coordination with local and central accounting teamsContribute to the preparation of regular reporting and scorecards, including simple variance analysisSupport the budget and forecast processes through data updates and assumptions trackingAssist in improving existing reporting tools and analyses (mainly Excel-based)Support basic financial analyses related to costs, projects, or investmentsHelp monitor the cost structure of the assigned area and prepare supporting analysesContribute to the maintenance of an appropriate internal control environment, supporting documentation and follow-up activities when requiredAll activities are carried out with progressive autonomy and continuous guidance.
