As a Risk Manager, you will be part of our EU-based Internal Control functions, based in Milan. You will support the senior managers of the credit rating agency and will work with functional teams at Scope. The Risk Manager is responsible for management of Scope Ratings GmbH non-financial risk management in a 3LoD model. /p h3Duties responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentify, assess, and propose appropriate mitigation/remediation for existing and future risks at Scope Ratings GmbH and its outsourced activities within Scope Group or third-party service providers /li liDesign and track relevant risk KPIs/KRIs with stakeholders and report on performance /li liEmbed a company appropriate risk management framework at Scope Ratings GmbH, outsourced activities or third-party service providers, encompassing risk appetite and risk tolerance thresholds, risk inventory, risk landscape and action plan, incident management amongst others /li liDevelop and maintain risk policies, procedures and control frameworks /li liMaintain and moderate the Scope Rating GmbH Risk Control Committee /li liGuide senior management and train stakeholders on risk management through effective collaboration, reports and presentations /li liWork with all stakeholders across Scope Ratings GmbH and outsourced service providers to embed strong risk management culture /li liEnsure alignment with regulatory requirements /li liPrepare and present risk reports to Scope Ratings GmbH boards and relevant further bodies at group level /li /ul h3Professional personal qualifications /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of experience in the financial industry /li liBachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or in relevant field of business sciences and/or related work experience /li liExperience in a regulatory environment is considered a plus /li liBackground as Consultant (Strategic or “Big Four”) is considered a plus /li liStrong organizational, as well as very good analytical skills /li liUnderstanding of diverse business processes and strategy developments /li liProven success in the efficient management of projects and processes /li liExcellent writing skills and ability to process complex information and restitute it in a clear / well-structured manner /li liWillingness to engage with highly specialized texts (economics, financial analysis) /li liProactive about learning new skills and improving existing processes /li liStrong team player with high interpersonal and communication skills /li liLeading to results and focus on solutions /li liMulti‑cultural, collaborative, self‑starter, integrity, detail and target‑oriented personality /li liStrong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills /li liExperience in a regulatory environment is considered a plus /li liBackground as Consultant (Strategic or “Big Four”) is considered a plus /li liFluency in at least a major European language (German and / or French preferred) in addition to English /li /ul h3Interested? /h3 pIf this sounds like a journey for you, we look forward to learning more from your convincing application.
