Amazon Finance Operations / payroll team is looking for individuals with expertise in the APAC Payroll, Employee Tax, and Benefits process experience.
Along with payroll, candidates with auditing skills, problem-solving skills, and payroll system knowledge are a plus.
Amazon seeks a Payroll Analyst with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a large customer-oriented corporate environment where payroll is processed on a monthly or biweekly basis.
* Pay Amazon employees accurately, on time, every time.
* Manage off-cycle pay runs and payments.
* Process payroll, including salary, employee / employer taxes, and other statutory deductions using in-house or third-party payroll platforms.
* Provide timely responses to queries from employees, support teams, and HRBPs.
* View and manage HR data on the People Portal.
* Process manual check calculations, coordinate with vendors for stop payments / reversals, enter paycheck card entries, and assist with check distribution.
* Support scheduled and ad hoc payroll tasks such as reporting, reconciliations, and tax filings (e.g., start / end of year, employee earning records).
Additional skills include strong communication and email etiquette, proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications. The role requires working 5 days a week from the office.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com).
* Advanced knowledge of Excel.
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Over 2 years of experience in finance operations, payroll / shared services, accounts payable / receivable, or general ledger.
