For our Rotary Wing Division, we are currently looking for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to be based at our facility in Colico (LC).
Reporting to the Compliance Monitoring Manager, the Compliance Monitoring Officer supports the execution of the annual audit plan, ensures that Company manuals and other controlled publications managed by the relevant Nominated Persons comply with applicable regulations and quality standards, and contributes to timely and effective communication with the Civil Aviation Authority regarding Compliance Monitoring Office duties.
Responsibilities & Activities:
Quality & Compliance Oversight
* Support the Compliance Monitoring Managers in administering, monitoring, and controlling the Quality Assurance System.
* Conduct regulatory compliance reviews of manuals and controlled documents submitted by the responsible Nominated Persons.
* Facilitate the editing, formatting, and release of manuals and controlled documents to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Ensure the controlled document library is kept accurate, updated, and properly archived;
Authority Communication
* Support the timely and accurate submission of documentation to the Civil Aviation Authority.
* Contribute to effective communication with the Authority on matters related to Compliance Monitoring.
* Ensure feedback or requests from the Authority are processed promptly and communicated to the responsible Nominated Person or to the Accountable Manager;
Auditing Activities
* Contribute to internal and external audits, including planning, coordination, and execution of the annual audit plan.
* Support the follow up of findings, non-conformities, and observations in accordance with Compliance Monitoring processes.
* Support the qualification, approval, or acceptance of Vendors and Contractors, as required;
Regulatory & Corporate Knowledge
* Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and Company/Group policies and processes;
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in an aeronautical compliance department.
* Good knowledge of aeronautical rules and regulations (EASA/ENAC).
* Knowledge of Quality Management and auditing principles (ISO 19011).
* Basic understanding of operational/technical aviation aspects.
* Good command of the English Language (B2+).
* Exceptional command of the Italian Language (C1+/native).
* Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
* Problem-solving.
* Precision and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical and synthesis abilities;
Preferred Requirements:
* Aviation regulatory courses (e.g., EASA Part 145, Air Ops, Human Factors).
* Aircraft familiarisation courses.
* Knowledge and experience working with power BI or a similar software;
