SAP Business Analyst
Position Summary
The SAP Business Analyst will be part of the Group IT Team and will act as a strategic business partner, driving systems and process innovation, enhancing process efficiency and control. The role involves collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, coordinate testing, and assist with implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and identify areas for process optimization within SAP SD and FI modules.
Solution Design: Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for the configuration and customizations of SAP solutions.
Configuration: Configure and customize SAP SD and FI modules, including sales orders processing, deliveries (transportation, handling and costs), billing, and financial accounting, controlling and reporting.
Implementation: Lead implementation solutions, manage project timelines and ensure successful deployment.
Testing: Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure the solution meets functional and business requirements.
Integration: Collaborate to integrate the SD module with SAP MM, FI, and TMS.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing functional and technical support to users and resolve issues within the SAP system.
Training & Documentation: Deliver end‑user training and create comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.
Process Improvement: Analyze and improve existing financial processes within SAP, identify areas for AI automation and recommend best practices.
Work Place
Group Headquarters, Milan, with domestic and international business travel (10% of time).
Professional Experience / Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
5‑7 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international industrial group.
Relevant IT-specific qualifications and demonstrated technical knowledge in SAP Hana Private and Public Cloud, expertise in SD module, exposure to SAP FI and CO, SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud.
International exposure and experience with cross‑border collaboration.
Good level of technical English (written and spoken).
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts in understandable terms.
Can‑do attitude and hands‑on approach with high energy and initiative.
Ability to manage upwards and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
