Come join us and be part of something truly special. /h3 h3THE DIFFERENCE YOU WILL MAKE /h3 pWe are looking for an IT Developer to join our technology team as a development partner alongside our existing senior developer. This is a hands‑on, code‑every‑day role focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce in a B2B e‑commerce environment. You will work in a paired programming model — collaborating on architecture decisions, conducting code reviews, and sharing ownership of the platform that drives our customer experience. /p pThis position focuses on learning, consistent execution, and visible progress under guidance from senior developers and IT leadership. /p pThe successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, curiosity, and follow‑through. They will be expected to work in‑office regularly to collaborate with peers, maintain consistent communication, and build a strong foundation of software development practices and habits. /p h3CORE FUNCTIONS OF THIS ROLE /h3 ul libDevelopment and Engineering /b /li liDesign, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions within the D365 Commerce platform for B2B e‑commerce operations /li liWork in a paired programming model with the senior developer — shared code ownership, real‑time collaboration, and mutual code review /li liBuild and maintain integrations between D365 Commerce, D365 Finance Operations, Avatax, EDI systems, and third‑party platforms (punchout catalogs, payment processors, shipping APIs) /li liDevelop and optimize invoice logic, charge allocation, surcharging, and order processing workflows /li liTroubleshoot and resolve production issues including silent integration failures, data mismatches, and batch job errors /li liWrite and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated validation for critical business logic /li libCode Quality and DevOps /b /li liConduct thorough code reviews and participate in pull request workflows through Azure DevOps (ADO) /li liManage ADO tickets, branches, and deployment pipelines for development, testing, and production environments /li liContribute to source control strategy including data warehouse migration to version‑controlled repositories /li liIdentify and remediate technical debt, improve error handling and logging, and enforce coding standards across the codebase /li libCollaboration and Problem‑Solving /b /li liPartner with the VP of Technology on architecture decisions, sprint planning, and priority calls across a 20+ project portfolio /li liSupport e‑commerce administration, catalog management, and search configuration alongside the team /li liParticipate in root cause analysis for production incidents and contribute to runbook development for recurring issues /li /ul h3Documentation Accountability /h3 ul liBuild and maintain clear and current documentation for all code, configurations, and processes. /li liLog work consistently using designated tools (DevOps). /li liContribute to shared team documentation repositories and internal knowledge bases. /li /ul h3Professional Development /h3 ul liDemonstrate continuous learning and growing proficiency in one or more focus areas (web, integration, data, or cloud). /li liAccept feedback and coaching with a growth mindset and follow through with visible progress. /li liParticipate in assigned training or certification paths as directed. /li liFollow all Millcraft policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook and departmental SOPs. /li liEnsure a safe working environment by strictly following all safety protocols and standards including reporting unsafe conditions, near‑misses and incidents immediately to your manager. /li liDemonstrate the Millcraft Core Values (Family, Responsible, Passion, Deliver, Aspire and FUN) in day‑to‑day work and interactions. /li liAll other duties, per the needs of the business. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED /h3 ul li5‑8+ years of professional software development experience /li li3+ years working directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce (not just FO — Commerce‑specific experience required) /li liStrong experience with B2B e‑commerce workflows: customer‑specific pricing, trade agreements, catalog management, punchout catalogs, and order processing /li liProficiency in X++, C#, and the D365 Commerce SDK / CSU (Commerce Scale Unit) extension model /li liHands‑on experience with D365 Finance Operations integration patterns (data entities, Synapse link, OData, batch jobs) /li liWorking knowledge of Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item tracking /li liExperience with SQL Server and data warehouse concepts /li liStrong debugging skills — comfort tracing issues across integrated systems (D365, tax engines, EDI, payment gateways) /li liStrong attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables /li liConsistent follow‑up and proactive communication with peers and management /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills; able to work constructively with technical and business‑minded team members /li liReliable time management and ability to work on‑site regularly (minimum 3 days per week) /li liWillingness to take direction, ask questions, and document learning /li /ul h3NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liExperience with Avatax or similar tax engine integrations /li liExperience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) implementation and troubleshooting /li liFamiliarity with e‑commerce search platforms and product catalog optimization /li liExperience with credit card surcharging logic, payment gateway integrations (SensePay/SensePOS or similar) /li liMicrosoft certifications in D365 Commerce or Finance Operations /li /ul h3WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE /h3 ul liWithin 30 days: Onboarded to the codebase, ADO workflows, and dev/test/prod environments. Paired with the senior developer and contributing to active code reviews. /li liWithin 60 days: Independently owning features and bug fixes within the D365 Commerce platform. Contributing to at least one critical‑path project. /li liWithin 90 days: Full development partner — sharing workload equally with the senior developer, leading technical decisions on assigned projects. /li /ul h3GROWTH PATH /h3 ul liApplication Developer (Integrations, Logic Apps, APIs) /li liFrontend Developer (UX/UI, ecommerce) /li /ul pThis role is designed as a foundation for advancement.
