What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-SOAS USAREUR-AF Special Security Officer you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Command, Control, Cyber, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) mission areas.
You will be a member of a team that will monitor and provide expertise regarding specific countries within USAREUR-AF’s AOR/AOI and plan/organize USAREUR-AF G2X’s analytical engagement with NATO and other foreign partner agencies. As a CACI SOAS USAREUR-AF Special Security Officer, you will embed at either Sembach Germany or Del Din (Vicenza, IT) and may travel as required, to perform services at other locations within the USEUCOM or US AFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
More About the Role:
As a CACI SOAS USAREUR-AF Special Security Officer you will embed at Del Din in Vicenza, Italy or Sembach Kaserne in Sembach, Germany, and may travel as required, to perform services at other locations within the USEUCOM or US AFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The USAREUR-AF TMISS Team will research, analyze, and produce near- and long-term all source assessments on terrorism / counterterrorism, and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to CG USAREUR-AF’s priority intelligence requirements and to enable U.S. and foreign partner counterintelligence operations.
Other duties of the Special Security Officer will include but are not limited to:
•Assist in the development goals and objectives that align with organization and security management objectives as directed by the Special Security Office (SSO).
•Assist in the revision or review of policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organizational design for SETAF-AF SSO operations.
•Provide overall direction to Security Managers to ensure the proper maintenance and administration of programs associated with the protection of sensitive compartmented information (SCI) personnel, physical, industrial, training, and information security.
•Assist the SETAF-AF SSO in enforcing all aspects of security requirements.
•Plan and schedule work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow, even distribution, and effective use of organizational resources to achieve organizational goals, objectives, and customer needs.
•Implement and administer the Information Security Program in accordance with applicable DoD and US Army directives, providing oversight and direction.
•Provide guidance on document marking, safeguarding, use, personnel access controls, need-to-know criteria, physical storage and control, and transmitting or transferring.
•Conduct inquiries and oversee the conduct of security incidents as directed by the SSO.
•Conduct security assistance visits/program reviews to ensure compliance with
established directives.
•Review Fixed Facility Checklists, self-inspection reports, work requirements, and requests for concept approval for supported agencies' sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIF) and temporary security working area (TWSA) requirements.
•Implement and administer information, physical, and personnel security programs.
•Maintain control and accountability of all classified material, perform and ensure proper destruction of classified material, prepare classified documentation for transmittal, change safe combinations annually (or as required), and conduct a 100% inventory of all accountable classified material (i.e., NATO, SAP, etc.).
•Implement and administer the Security Awareness and Education Training Program.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
1. BA/BS + 10 years of directly related military experience; OR 15 years of directly related military experience
2. Current TS/SCI Clearance in good standing
3. Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE): Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
4. Bachelor’s degree in security or a related field
5. Experience providing assistance in the establishment, revisions, or reviews of policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for US Army USAREUR-AF SSO operations.
6. Military experience, particularly in the EUCOM or AFRICOM Theaters
