Location: - Saline di Volterra OR Scurelle - Part of SLB Well Construction, Saline Bits Product Center (SBPU) manufactures an extensive range of roller cone drill bits that provide superior drilling performance. Job Summary: - The Tax Intern will gain experience in various finance and tax tasks within the team, and assists in managing activities related the Legal Entity (Smith Int’l Italia SpA). - The positions report to the relevant Controller of the Center as member of the BOD and responsible of the Legal Entity reporting. - Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. Typical Responsibilities and Duties: - Develop extensive relationships with wider finance/Hub teams to enable good team working. - Interface with Hub teams and with local tax consultant including Statutory Board of Auditors and Legal Advisor. - Running reports in SAP/Oracle and support in account analysis - Support in VAT reporting - Support in WHT and VAT exemption requests - Support in monthly analysis for EU Mandatory Disclosure Regime reporting. - Monitor intercompany agreements and help to prepare new agreements as needed. - Maintain tax residency certificate lists and manage renewal process - Support for digital archiving of tax documents Qualifications: - Studying University Degree in Economics or equivalent, Master student will be considered a plus. - Required Technical Skills_ - Good knowledge of MS Excel - Nice-to-Have Technical Skills_ - Knowledge or interest in PBI or other BI tools - Soft Skills_ - Fluent in English and Italian - Ability to interact with different level of the organization - Eager to learn and demonstrate initiative - SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
