Position
Alpinestars is looking for a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Data Engineer to design, implement, and govern scalable cloud solutions and modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities:
* You will manage cloud integration architectures, ensure high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost optimization.
* You will select and implement Azure services.
* You will support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
* You will be in charge of designing and operating modern Azure data platforms (ADF/Synapse, Azure SQL).
* You will build reliable batch and streaming data pipelines.
* You will ensure data quality, security, and governance.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture and services.
* Proven experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.
* Solid knowledge of data warehousing/Lakehouse, SQL, and data modeling.
* Experience with batch and real-time data processing and integration patterns.
* Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or SQL).
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
* Fluency in English.
Nice to Have:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Azure Data Engineer certifications. xivgfpx - Experience with hybrid environments and BI tools (Power BI, Analysis Services).
