The Transport Senior Specialist is responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and supervision of transport activities for parcels and specific shipments originating from the EU warehouses to Dealers in Europe. The role ensures on-time delivery, cost control, service quality, and compliance with national and international transport standards, while acting as a key interface between carriers, warehouses, internal teams, and customers.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monitor daily outbound transport activities using freight and transport dashboards
* Organize urgent, dedicated, and exceptional deliveries to meet required lead times
* Define outbound transport solutions for oversized, special, or non‐standard shipments
* Track outbound shipments, manage transport anomalies, and ensure timely follow‐up
* Implement and support corrective actions within the outbound transport plan
* Propose solutions to improve outbound transport efficiency and service levels
* Ensure lead times for urgent and standard outbound orders are consistently met
* Guarantee shipment quality and compliance with national and international transport regulations
* Manage daily operational or safety issues (e.g. delays, damages, access restrictions)
* Approve urgent or exception deliveries in coordination with warehouse operations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus xjrgpwk
* Strong knowledge of outbound transport, logistics, and supply chain operations
* Proven experience in operational cost control and performance monitoring
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); TMS knowledge is a plus
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* CUustomer‐oriented, and results‐driven mindset
* High level of autonomy, resilience, and priority management
* Willingness to travel when required
