If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to support our team in Milan (plus other remote locations) for a fixed term contract for 1 year.In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, system support, and ensuring seamless IT operations. You'll have the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with a talented team, and work in a company that values innovation and professional development.If you’re ready to take the next step in your IT career and be part of an exciting, forward-thinking company, we’d love to hear from you!We work on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office 2 days WFH.What you will do :Ensure 1st Line End-User Support for IT and Facilities based systemsField incoming requests to the Service Desk via both telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues and reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectationsRecord, track and document the service desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolutionSupport users on Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook packages, mail system (Exchange) and on shared file systemSupport corporate phone system (VoIP) and independent mobile telecoms usersManagement of IT hardware (Desktop / ThinClient / Laptop etc.) in accordance with relevant policiesMaintain an inventory of all IT equipmentIf necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.Act as an escalation point for advanced or difficult help requestsPrioritise and schedule problems. Escalate problem (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician, or EMEA IT Service Delivery ManagerAccess software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQ resources on the Internet / Intranet to aid in problem resolutionPerform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applicationsInstall anti-virus software and ensure virus definitions are up-to-date.Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals - including checking serversTest fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolvedLiaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issuesInstall, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation software hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking software hardware productsPerform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as neededWhat we ask for :Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical peopleDeep knowledge of Windows environment (Ideally holding MS certifications)Understanding of Networking principles is an advantageKnowledge of Microsoft Azure is beneficialMust be capable of answering user queries and solving 1st line support problemsFluent in English and Italian written and verbalWe are keen to hear from you even if you don’t match all listed requirements, but you identify with our brand and passion for innovation.What we offer :We aspire to be an indispensable company, trusted throughout the world for our commitment to openness, customer satisfaction and sustainability.
