You'll contribute directly to improving how our production processes perform—making them safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Your work will support daily operations and long-term improvements at our Castel San Pietro plant. As part of the Danfoss Power Solutions team, you'll gain hands‐on exposure to real manufacturing challenges while learning how engineering, maintenance, quality, and safety come together on the shop floor. This internship is designed to give you practical experience, responsibility from day one, and a strong foundation for a future career in operations or process engineering.What You'll Be DoingAnalyze existing production processes through data collection, shop‐floor observation, and process mapping to identify improvement opportunitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles, 5S, and waste reduction practicesPrepare and update technical reports and KPIs related to production and maintenance performanceCollaborate with production, quality, and safety teams on non‐conformities and root cause analysisContribute to industrialization activities, including new product introduction, process cycles, and work instructionsWhat We're Looking ForEnrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, or similar degree, suitable for a curricular internshipAbility to work on site for 3–6 months starting in summer (June–September)Solid analytical and problem‐solving skills, with a collaborative mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reportingGood command of Italian and English, both written and spokenWhat You'll Get From UsWe promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunitiesYou'll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work‐life balance.
