Ph3Job Description /h3 pbREPORT TO : Site General Manager /b /p pbSCOPE OF AUTHORITY : /b Champion a sustainable EHS culture to ensure employee Safety Health and to protect the Environment, in order to enable compliant operations and business effectiveness. /p pbMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : /b /p pbLead EHS Regulatory Compliance /b /p pProvide guidance to site managers and employees, conduct internal and support external audits, to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements. Design corrective and preventative action plans. /p pbAssess and Mitigate Risks /b /p pIdentify EHS risks and define proactive mitigations. Ensure that site investment and changes in processes, equipment and systems are carried out in accordance with the concepts of EHS by design and relevant EHS requirements and cGMP. /p pbDesign and Implement Annual EHS Plan /b /p pIn collaboration with the site leadership team, create, implement, monitor and update the site EHS plan. /p pbMonitor, Analyze and Share EHS Information /b /p pProvide necessary information and data to site managers and supervisors, Global EHS and other internal and external stakeholders, in order to support the achievement of EHS objectives and enhance Teva’s reputation. /p pbPromote a Sustainable EHS Culture /b /p pCreate and maintain an EHS culture throughout the site that inspires a proactive attitude and a firm belief that ‘target zero’ is achievable. Create a space where people can speak openly and are encouraged to present new ideas about EHS stewardship. /p pbProvide Expertise, Guidance, Coaching and Training /b /p pDevelop and implement training programs, provide coaching, expertise and guidance to managers and employees of the site. /p pbLead Continuous EHS Improvement /b /p pLead continuous improvement in EHS using Operational Excellence principles and visible-felt leadership to achieve 'target zero' goals and to enable compliant operations and business effectiveness. /p pbLead the Site EHS Team /b /p pIdentify, recruit, develop and retain qualified EHS professionals to provide EHS services to the site. Implement managerial practices to ensure the EHS team’s high performance, modeling Teva's values and leadership framework. /p pbSite Leadership Team Member /b /p pServe as an influential member of the site leadership team, who impacts decision making and takes an active role in promoting cross-site initiatives, team work and collaboration across site functions. /p pbMember of the Global Network Professional Community /b /p pBring global best practices into the site and actively share site perspective, knowledge and lessons learned to contribute and support a best-in-class professional level of EHS globally. /p pManage Relations with Regulatory Agencies, the Local Community and external suppliers /p pDevelop trusted and proactive relationships with regulatory agencies, local community and external suppliers to promote compliance and social responsibility, in Teva's business interest. /p pRSPP role on site /p pbSAFETY RESPONSIBILITY : /b /p p"Preposto per la sicurezza" according to the Italian Law D.Lgs 81 / 2008 : /p pPerson, that in accordance to professional skills and function, supervises the work and ensures the implementation of the directives received, monitoring the successful execution by workers and exercising a functional power. /p h3ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liEnsure that the organization’s Quality Management System is fully applied within the area of responsibility maintaining total compliance to current GMP, GDP, Data Integrity requirements. /li liEnsure adherence to environment, health and safety company requirements as well as legal obligations. /li liBehave according to company Ethical Code and company values. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liMinimum : Bachelor's Degree : engineering or related science-based. Master's Degree in Safety / Industrial hygiene / Environment is an advantage. /li liProfessional certifications a must when required legally.
