Qualifications
Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline and 3 years' post-related experience. Acceptable alternatives: secondary education and 5 years' post-related experience, or an equivalent education combined with an appropriate amount of relevant, professional experience
Formal training and experience in IT with particular emphasis on end-user and workstation applications, problem solving, troubleshooting and direct end-user support.
Experience in giving guidance, assistance and in providing training to end-users of IT/IS systems.
Experience in scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Knowledge in the area of Information Technology (IT) (Networking, Internet technology, Interfacing systems, Operating System technology, Database Management Systems (DBMS), Systems security).
Knowledge in the area of Systems support, Structured Query Language (T-SQL or PL/SQL), C# and .Net technologies.
Good knowledge in the area of eBusiness and web technologies, including the standards applicable and the software/hardware environments and architecture used in implementing them.
Good knowledge of IT security concepts and their implementation.
