This role leading a small technical team collaborates across functions to advance the company’s innovation roadmap and market leadership. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDrive Innovation: Lead initiatives to optimize portfolio of mechanical equipment and steel structures, focusing on cost reduction, product standardization, and efficient manufacturing. /liliChampion Continuous Improvement: Identify, document, and resolve portfolio gaps, implementing and tracking solutions within internal systems to enhance time-to-market and offering agility. /liliLead Technical Team: Manage and inspire a small team of experienced engineers, setting clear priorities and supporting professional growth. /liliGather Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze commercial and competitor data to anticipate key trends and maintain market leadership. /liliDeliver Strategic Support: Draft, update, and present technical data sheets to promote equipment and inform commercial strategies. /liliConduct Feasibility Studies: Lead technical and economic analyses for new or updated products, aligning with the company’s innovation roadmap. /liliCollaborate Across Functions: Work closely with sales, production, after-sales, and management, actively participating in leadership meetings. /liliReport Performance: Deliver periodic updates to senior management, tracking innovation KPIs such as cost savings achieved, speed of new product introductions, and customer or market feedback. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliEducation: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. /liliExperience: Minimum five years of leadership experience in engineering teams, preferably within mechanical/steel plant environments. /liliTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in 2D/3D CAD systems (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks); hands-on FEA (Finite Element Analysis) use for structural projects. /liliDeep understanding of industry standards, technical drawing, and manufacturing processes for custom-built steel structures. /liliExcellent written and spoken English. /li /ulh3Soft Skills /h3ulliLeadership: Robust people management and cross-functional collaboration skills. /liliStrategic thinker with a results-driven mindset. /liliAnalytical and innovative, with strong problem-solving abilities. /liliEffective communicator, both within the team and across company functions. /liliCommitment to cultivating an inclusive and collaborative work culture. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3ulliOccasional travel required for plant visits, technical meetings, and industry events. /liliWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM /liliSalary Package: €60,000 – €80,000 gross per year (depending on experience and qualifications) /li /ulpThe company invests in professional growth through continuous training, mentorship, and opportunities to lead high-visibility innovation projects.
