We are seeking a highly skilled Sommelier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wine and be able to create exceptional wine lists that pair perfectly with our food menus.
The Sommelier's responsibilities will include recommending wine varieties to guests, supervising the serving of wine, and collaborating with winemakers to ensure the highest quality wines are available. To excel in this role, you should have relevant experience in hospitality or a vineyard and be available to work during business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and update wine lists in coordination with chefs and Maitre
* Recommend food and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience
* Advise guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
* Inform guests about different varieties of wines and prices
* Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and within the proper glassware
* Manage the wine cellar and ensure it is fully stocked
* Train wait staff on available wine options
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* Relevant experience in hospitality or a vineyard
* A deep understanding of wine and its pairing possibilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* CORSO SOMMELIER certification (mandatory)
Benefits:
This full-time contract offers a competitive salary starting from €1,500 per month and flexible working hours. We are looking for someone who is available to work weekends and holidays.
