Save the Children is seeking a Project Coordinator for a UNHCR-funded project (PFA-ITA-22161-95047-00) focused on protecting and including migrant minors. The successful candidate will oversee monitoring and coordination of project activities, participate in meetings, manage logistics, disseminate informational materials, and handle reporting. The Coordinator will work closely with the Area Leader and Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor, coordinate, and ensure effective implementation of project activities by the team;
2. Develop work plans and oversee project execution;
3. Manage financial planning and control;
4. Monitor budget implementation and address deviations;
5. Propose budget modifications for donor approval in coordination with the Program Manager;
6. Supervise the production of all project documents and outputs;
7. Review team reports and prepare monitoring, narrative, and financial reports;
8. Coordinate the collection and production of documentation for financial and narrative reporting;
9. Facilitate and contribute to expense reporting according to donor requirements;
10. Ensure the production and achievement of project outputs and deliverables;
11. Participate in at least four quarterly coordination meetings with the Area Leader and Program Manager;
12. Develop monitoring reports within agreed timelines and standards;
13. Ensure the delivery of project outputs as per activity planning;
14. Prepare final narrative and financial project reports on schedule and with quality standards;
15. Guarantee the proper implementation of all activities and achievement of planned outputs.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Master's degree in political science, social sciences, humanities, or related fields (preferred);
* Excellent written and spoken English skills;
* Proficiency in MS Office;
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within another organization;
* Good knowledge of children’s rights issues;
* Understanding of migratory phenomena;
* Knowledge of the system for welcoming unaccompanied migrant minors and key stakeholders (preferred);
* Integrity, professionalism, and rapport-writing skills;
* Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders;
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently;
* Prioritization skills for relevant project activities;
* Flexibility, proactive attitude, and dynamism;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Team-oriented attitude;
