POSITION SUMMARY
The Vendors Management Specialist effectively contributes to the definition, development, communication and drive of sourcing strategies for all elements of direct and indirect spending, globally. Clearly defined strategies will allow an effective utilization of the dedicated resources to identify and engage the right third parties to maximize the overall results. They activate market research and scouting in collaboration with all the other functions, aimed at identifying new sources alternative to the current ones. They participate, together with the other functions, in the preliminary phase of the qualification path, supporting the team in both business and technical topics. They define, finalize and manage the supply agreements with the strategic and critical suppliers. They conduct the make‑or‑buy evaluation whenever possible and appropriately, to leverage on our key core competencies and outsource the standard ones.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Build and maintain the active Vendor List, by attributing the appropriate role to each of them, based on a contribution to profitability versus market complexity matrix analysis (Kraljic).
Execute the preliminary evaluation of critical suppliers, driven by business, financial, reputational, technological and capability parameters, which will provide a comprehensive scenario to take a more documented, objective and responsible decision.
Participate in the definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), propose benchmark key objectives and targets, and deliver results to Group management and external stakeholders. Ensure performance for the function is regularly reported and audited.

EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- International experience is preferred.
- Fluent English is required.
EDUCATION
Education: business, economics or technical degree (Master of Science)
