GOSP (Generali Operations Service Platform) is a joint venture between Generali and Accenture, providing IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Based in Italy, GOSP has five branches across Europe and employs about 1,000 people. The candidate will be part of the Program NEXT team. The IT Application Lead is responsible for supporting new implementations and ongoing maintenance of application assets, collaborating with technical and functional teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks, acting as a key contributor during go-live and ongoing support, and assisting in strategic planning and global operations. Main responsibilities include: Monitoring and ensuring the achievement of core solution milestones, guiding resource and budget management, coordinating with local stakeholders, and escalating key decisions and risks to governance bodies. Ensuring compliance with internal policies. Maintaining, monitoring, and supporting all systems and applications. Serving as an IT solution consultant to business stakeholders, mapping relevant technologies and IT services to support business strategies. Planning and executing solution implementation programs aligned with business strategies and global IT standards. Vendor governance of cloud infrastructure activities. Hard Skills: Knowledge of IFRS principles (IFRS17 and IFRS9) and background in actuarial non-life insurance. Understanding of software lifecycle, Lean project management, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and ITIL. Proficiency in SQL, programming languages, and relational databases. Professional proficiency in English; additional languages (Italian, German, French) are advantageous. Knowledge of cloud services management and processes.
