For our client, cross countries company leader in the education system for both private and public sectors, we are looking for an:
IT Specialist
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Italy, coordinating day-to-day IT operations and projects.
* Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, security policies, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
* Coordinate the rollout and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
* Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for end users, escalating complex issues as needed.
* Collaborate with the Corporate IT team to support enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, Blackboard LMS, Classlife SIS, Business Central ERP...).
* Manage local IT vendors, service contracts, and coordinate third-party support.
* Support onboarding/offboarding processes, asset management, and inventory control.
* Facilitate training and IT awareness sessions for regional staff.
* Assist in implementing and tracking regional IT budgets and procurement.
Your Profile
Qualifications
* 4+ years of IT experience, preferably in a multi-site or international environment.
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure AD...), networking basics, and endpoint management.
* Experience with user support, service desk operations, and vendor coordination.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.
* Fluent in English
Preferred Skills
* Experience in the education sector or similar service-based environments.
* Exposure to cloud-based systems and SaaS environments.
* Understanding of data privacy and Italy compliance.
