The Operation Manager plan, organize, lead and control production departments on manufacturing activities for the Milan products portfolio. Support and promote the manufacturing strategy to deliver the future and most efficient organization of the plant with the purpose to achieve the goals about EHS, quality, services and flows of production. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate production operations or processes over multiple shifts; - Take short term decisions related to production activities: production scheduling, procurement, production flow regulation, problem solving and equipment maintenance; - Constantly review production deliverables and evaluate the operating performances (team skills, efficiency and costs), according to production planning, optimize productivity capacity (equipments and resources), reaching the most efficient organization; - Coordinate with the other departments and workshops to attain productivity and quality objectives - Set standard deliverables and strategy of the reporting organization and collaborate, in agreement with the staff organization (such us Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply chain, HR, EHS), in order to achieve Operational Perfection; - Select, coordinate, train, mentor and empower production labor force to ensure consistent attainment of production schedules at optimum productivity and cost levels; - Recommend improvements in production flow or methods - Develop and assess adequate skills and people motivation, as well as crafting organizational flexibility to manage complexity and satisfy business demand; - Participate and be actor in solving problem activity and or PPS; - Support the plant activities such as material recovery and reduce SSPL. Qualifications: - Technical degree. Bachelor Degree in Production Management, Engineering or in Logistics/Supply Chain is preferred - At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain - Lean manufacturing knowledge; - Proficient in English, fluent Italian
