JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The Junior Media Manager will support the Media Manager in managing the planning, the implementation and measurement of Luxottica’s media campaigns across all channels, working with internal and external stakeholders. He/She must be capable to fully understand the needs of one or more optical retail brands and translate them into effective media plans, granting their full delivery and the quality of their results. At the same time, he/she must able to elaborate the most proper representation of the results, defining the rightest KPIs beyond the media ones. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: - Collaborate with brand marketing & business teams to align media strategies - Support the media manager in the development of media briefs (annual/campaign) - Support in the creation, implementation, optimization and measurement of integrated media plans - Manage local media agencies planning and buying of all media spaces guaranteeing media costs optimization and performance against objectives and KPIs including evaluation of plan strategies, channel mix, tactical details and executional reports as well as validation of assets and units - Support in driving innovation in terms of channels, formats and partners for better efficiency - Collaborate with brand marketing, content & social teams to develop creative asset sheets to be shared with media agency - Monitor campaign performance and evaluate/suggest optimization to media agency to increase overall performance - Prepare media reporting for Brand Marketing teams and Luxottica leadership teams, defining success KPIs and the impact of the campaigns on the business - Lead the media agency on developing the best media plans to be coherent with the media and marketing objectives - Be in touch with global and local media vendors to always be updated about new trends and products in market NETWORK OF INTERACTION: INTERNAL : Media team, brand team, social team, performance team, content team, CRM team, eCom team EXTERNAL : Local/regional media agencies, local media & digital owners / vendors, tech partners, measurement players TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE - Min 2-5 years of media experience - University Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or any related field - Ability to work both individually and in a team - Full competency on all media channels (digital, OOH, TV, radio, etc.) and ability to evaluate media plans against strategy as well as efficiency/strength - Strong coordination skills to lead/manage complex media plan/executions as well as a complex global organization structure - Ability to liaise with partners (internal and external) in multi regions, countries, time zones while still delivering quality work on deadlines - Acute attention to detail - Solid analytic skills and ability to communicate results in a simplified manner - Understanding of media researches tools/models - Strong communication skills both written and verbal
