About This Role\nJoin CAE as a Crew Coordinator and become part of a skilled simulator maintenance team at the Amendola Air Base near Foggia. You will lead Simulator Technicians and ensure the technical availability and performance of our training systems, overseeing all organisational, preventive, intermediate, and corrective maintenance activities.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nBe the simulator technical lead on‑site.\nImplement and execute the maintenance plan.\nSupport simulator operations, including performance testing, maintenance logging, and reporting.\nCoordinate logistics such as shipping and handling supporting logistic department.\nManage spare parts inventory and initiate repair or replenishment actions.\nSupport procurement activities for repairs and replacements.\nCommunicate and report technical issues, including coordination with simulator instructors.\nInterface with CAE Engineering Departments / Customers / End Users for technical topics\n\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.\nOur Ideal Candidate\nWe welcome applicants with experience in field such as computer systems, avionics, or electronics.\nTraining can be provided to candidates with the right technical foundation, such as:\n\nExperience installing and configuring hardware and software (PCs, servers, printers, network devices).\nAbility to diagnose, maintain, and repair IT and electrical equipment.\nQualifications in Aeronautical, Computer, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial disciplines.\nExperience with soldering, mechanics, or electronic circuits.\nAbility to read and use technical publications and manuals and electrical test equipment.\nStrong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.\nLeadership experience or interest in leading a small team.\nLanguages: Professional English and fluent Italian.\nWould be considered an advantage: experience dealing with military organizations or military customers or provenience from military background or previous experience with Flight Simulator.\n\nWhat kind of person will succeed in this team?\nYou enjoy being close to technology and prefer hands on, practical work.
