Job Responsibilities
Take charge of finance team as a leader and a contributor
Dealing with auditors, tax agents and other regulatory requirements
Managing banking relations
Responsible in building interface between big data/platform to accounting system to record trades, deposits, withdrawals, PL movements etc
Responsible in drafting SOP and policies to comply with MiCAR requirement
Being the main contact point for finance in regards to query and drafting solutions for internal review and approval
Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc including streamline and improve existing processes
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Supporting daily payment operations, including bank account opening and transfer, cheque, cash etc.
Responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance
Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
Undertaking other duties as required
Job Requirements
Proven >5 years working experience for full-suite company finance including Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Understanding Austria's corporate requirements; VAT, Corporate tax and audit
Good knowledge of international telegraphic transfer
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle Netsuite
High degree of accuracy and attention to details
Comprehensive knowledge on MiCAR financial requirements
BS Degree in Finance or Accounting with accounting professional qualifications
Good-to-have
In-depth working knowledge or prior experience working in a cryptocurrency exchange or brokerage house
Big 4 working experience
Experience dealing with regulators
Experience working with multiple currencies
Eventual title and seniority will depend on the experience of the candidate
