MULTISCHEME LEAD AUDITOR
Local Unit & Position Description
The Lead Auditor is a key role within DNV Business Assurance Italy, responsible for leading audit teams to perform assessments according to DNV standards, protocols, international standards, or equivalent national standards, following established DNV methodologies and rules.
Key Tasks:
1. Conduct regular auditing activities in the field;
2. Manage client relationships with a focus on total customer satisfaction;
3. Perform work efficiently and competently, adhering to instructions, the Quality System, and formal client agreements;
4. Maintain the independence of the DNV scheme at all times;
5. Maintain or acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or equivalent credentials to serve as Lead Auditor;
6. Plan, execute, report, and follow-up on audits within agreed timelines and budgets;
7. Uphold professional standards and demonstrate competence in core areas;
8. Develop and sustain positive relationships with client personnel;
9. Contribute to a positive work environment and maintain high morale;
10. Work effectively as part of a team, supporting professional development and timely reviews;
11. Communicate effectively with management, team members, and clients;
12. Ensure proper use of audit tools and communication of updated data for certification processes;
The role also includes back-office tasks supporting project management, such as:
* Promptly contacting customers to confirm planned activities.
Position Qualifications:
* Experience as a Senior Lead Auditor on MSC-related schemes (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and preferably ISO 50001);
* Proven excellent communication, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills;
* Ability to build strong customer relationships;
* Ability to coordinate and manage an Auditor Team;
* Strong auditing skills, including flexibility, mobility, working under pressure, respecting deadlines, and client relations;
* Fluent in Italian and proficient in English;
* Proficiency with basic software and IT tools;
* Highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
