As Head of Luxury Sales, based at our headquarters in Pesaro, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our portfolio of 5-star luxury hotels. You will oversee the development and execution of targeted sales strategies specifically for the luxury segment. Your goal will be to cultivate long-term relationships, expand our network of contacts, and position our properties as the preferred choice in the luxury hospitality market.
Responsibilities
* Business Development: Lead efforts to expand our presence in the luxury segment by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This includes building partnerships with luxury travel agents, corporate clients, and premium brands.
* Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the 5-star luxury portfolio, aligned with brand objectives. Focus on building a sustainable pipeline through direct and indirect sales channels to maximize revenue.
* Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key luxury clients and maintain ongoing communication to ensure long-term loyalty. Regularly meet with major accounts to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
* Consortia Relationship Management: Understand and manage relationships with consortia, key players in the luxury market.
* Market Analysis and Insights: Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities within the luxury segment to anticipate demand, adjust strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
* Collaboration with Marketing and Operations: Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns targeting the luxury market and collaborate with hotel operations to ensure service quality meets high-end client expectations.
* Revenue Optimization: Partner with the revenue management team to prepare market segment budgets, update forecasts, and plan operations to achieve set objectives.
* Coordination of Events, Partnerships, and Affiliations: Manage the coordination of high-profile events, VIP experiences, and partnerships aimed at strengthening the luxury brand’s market position.
* Industry Event Participation: Attend and represent the company at industry events focused on the luxury segment to expand the network and maintain brand visibility at national and international levels.
* Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and account development for senior leadership. Adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role within the 5-star hotel sector.
* Strong business development and account management skills, with in-depth knowledge of the luxury hospitality market.
* Proven success in building long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and luxury brands.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Thorough understanding of luxury brand positioning and client expectations in a high-end hospitality environment.
* A solid network within the luxury travel sector and established connections with key market players.
* Knowledge and experience in attending industry events focused on the luxury segment.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
