Job Summary The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining reliable demand forecasts to ensure optimal service performance and inventory levels. This role supports the end-to-end supply chain by aligning demand signals with supply capabilities and overall business objectives.
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on statistical models, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputs Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of deviations Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning to align demand plans with business objectives Support the monthly S&OP; process by executing Step 2, providing demand insights and scenario planning Perform Demand Sensing and Forecast Consumption activities in alignment with the Customer Service department, evaluating forecast and order deviations Management Engineering or similar Experience with demand planning software xpavfwm (e.g. SAP IBP or similar) Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory planning Experience in manufacturing industries is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration Ability to work with data-driven insights and manage complexity
