The Role
The company is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager Business Development to drive growth and expand client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, a deep understanding of the CDMO market (and possible clients) with an extensive network of contacts. This is a strategic role that requires a blend of commercial acumen, technical knowledge, and relational skills to identify, negotiate, and close high-value deals. You will be a key player in the company's expansion, working in a high-visibility role with significant executive-level interaction.
Key Responsabilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotech companies across Europe (Italy, Switzerland, Germany).
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead contract negotiations, including pricing and service-level agreements, in collaboration with the technical, legal, and finance teams.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at current and prospective clients.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and regular reports on performance to senior management.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies within the CDMO industry to inform business strategy.
The Requirements
- University Degree
- A minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in a commercial or business development role. The ideal candidate will come from the CDMO sector, but we will also strongly consider profiles with a solid operational or technical background (e.g., tech
