Role OverviewWe are hiring a PR Manager to shape how the company shows up in the press. The role combines storytelling with relationship building — pitching journalists, managing the news cycle, and protecting reputation when things get hot.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute PR strategy aligned to business priorities
* Pitch and place stories with target media outlets and journalists
* Manage spokesperson preparation, media training, and interview coordination
* Lead crisis communications and reactive press response
* Manage press releases, media kits, and announcement timelines
* Track media coverage, share of voice, and reputation metrics
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 4+ years in PR, communications, or media relations
* Strong existing relationships with journalists in relevant beats
* Track record of placing meaningful coverage in tier-1 outlets
* Excellent writing, including pitches, press releases, and quotes
* Experience managing announcements end-to-end
* Cool head and structured thinking under media pressure
