This is, initially, a one‑year temporary position with an aim to shift into a permanent contract.
Responsibilities
* Be accountable for production in case of issues occurred related to material and process
* Be main point of contact to support analysis and compiling of data.
* Be able to support process changes or studies using appropriate statistical techniques.
* Willingness to interface with all other engineering components within the company and with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
* Provide support to other members of the Quality Engineering team.
* Help maintain the Nonconforming and Supplier Nonconforming Programs.
* Work in collaboration with Supplier Quality issues management.
* Handle and maintain the calibration of Quality equipments.
* Participate in the preventive maintenance program.
* Document inspection results in accordance with the appropriate Quality Procedures.
* Perform appropriate statistical analysis of data.
* Active in continuous improvement of all Quality Management Systems as it relates to Medical Devices.
Requirements
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering: Electronic, Electrical or Biomedical but a technical background is also valuable.
* Knowledge of QMS standards ISO9001 and ISO13485 (only applicable for Healthcare) is preferred.
* Knowledge of Quality assurance activities in manufacturing:
* Nonconformity handling, root cause analysis methods, CAPA
* Product, tool and process validation methods is a plus
* Analysis of data
* Candidate must be a self‑directed, detail‑oriented, dependable, and trustworthy person who works well independently, while being highly motivated.
* Knowledge on electronic components
* Able to read and understand technical reports, specifications, and 2D part drawings
