Role description
\nThe mission of a Testing Engineer is to use engineering principles and mechanical skills to build innovative solutions to real-world material handling and conveyance challenges.\n
Your main challenges
\n
\n
- Achieve client requirements through theory, application, and use of Habasit product line.
\n
- Directly involved with the function and performance of each piece of equipment delivered.
\n
- Test, troubleshoot, and develop new concepts on our products and material handling solutions.
\n
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.
\n
- Generate reports reflecting significant test results and methodology.
\n
- Provide 2D/3D design support to design engineer team for design of new test equipment and products for test/prototype applications.
\n
- Database maintenance of historical documentation for testing results.
\n
- Create and execute a thorough test plan and document all results in a clear and organised method which can be shared with and comprehended by all team members.
\n
- Support Account Managers and Application Engineers in the selling and implementation of conveyors.
\n
- Follow all safety procedures and policies while on production floor.
\n
- Exhibit teamwork and self-management.
\n
\n
What we look for
\n\n
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
\n
- Proficient with using measuring devices, hand tools, and reading mechanical drawings
\n
- 1+ years of Engineering experience in product testing or automation/industrial equipment production
\n
- Familiarity with all forms of conveyor line applications
\n
- Previous experience working with lean manufacturing concepts or principles
\n
- Knowledge of CAD 2D/3D and Inventor
\n
